About Fastest Finger
Fastest Finger is an Android reaction and tapping speed game developed and published by HassApps.
The game offers four separate challenges, each lasting ten seconds: tapping as fast as possible, hitting a target that moves around the screen, reacting the moment the screen turns green, and tapping only the colour requested.
Each challenge keeps its own personal record, so the player can measure progress in every challenge independently.
The application does not require an account, username, or password in order to play.
Information We Collect
HassApps does not collect, receive, or store personal information on its servers.
The application does not require users to provide:
- Name
- Username
- Email address
- Phone number
- Password
- Account information
- Location information
- Contact information
- Payment information
The application does not have an online user account system, backend server, or online database operated by HassApps for storing player information.
The application does include a third-party advertising service, which collects certain device information as described in the Advertising section below.
Gameplay and Internet Connection
The entire gameplay of Fastest Finger is processed locally on the user's device.
Taps, timing, reaction measurements, scores, records, and preferences do not require communication with HassApps servers or any other online server.
An internet connection is used only to load advertisements and to verify the in-app purchase through Google Play.
The game can be played without an internet connection.
Local Data Storage
The application stores the following information locally on the device in order to provide its features:
- Interface language, appearance, sound preference, and vibration preference
- The personal record of each of the four challenges
- The status of the advertising removal purchase
- The advertising consent choice
This locally stored information is not transmitted to HassApps servers.
Records can be cleared at any time from within the application, under Settings and then Reset results.
All locally stored information is removed when the user clears the application data or uninstalls the application.
If device backup is enabled in the user's Google account settings, Android may include application preferences in the device backup. That backup is controlled by Google and by the device settings, not by HassApps.
Accounts and Registration
Fastest Finger does not require account registration and does not provide a HassApps player account for using the game.
Users are not required to provide a username, email address, phone number, or password to play.
Advertising
Fastest Finger displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service operated by Google.
Advertising appears as a banner on the home, result, and settings screens, and as a full-screen advertisement shown between challenges. No advertisement is displayed on the challenge screens themselves, so that rapid tapping cannot reach an advertisement.
Google, acting as an independent third party, may collect and process certain information in order to serve and measure advertisements, which may include:
- The device advertising identifier
- General device and operating system information
- IP address and approximate country
- Advertising interaction data
This information is collected and used by Google in accordance with its own policies, and not by HassApps. Further information is available in the Google Privacy Policy and in How Google uses data in advertising.
Users may reset the advertising identifier or opt out of personalised advertising from the device settings, under Google and then Ads.
Users may also remove advertising permanently through the in-app purchase described below, after which no advertisements are displayed in the application.
Advertising Consent
In regions where consent is required, such as the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the application shows a consent form provided by the Google User Messaging Platform before any advertisement is requested.
The user's choice is recorded by that service, and no advertisement is requested until the choice allows it. If the user declines personalised advertising, advertising may still be displayed, but it is non-personalised and is not based on an advertising profile of the user.
In United States jurisdictions where state privacy laws apply, the same service presents the relevant notice and the option to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
Where this requirement applies, the user can change that choice at any time from within the application, under Settings and then Privacy choices.
In-App Purchases
Fastest Finger offers a single optional one-time purchase that removes advertising from the application.
Payment is processed entirely by Google Play Billing.
HassApps does not receive, process, or store any payment card details or billing information.
The application receives only a confirmation that the purchase was completed, which is stored locally on the device in order to disable advertising, and is verified with Google Play each time the application is opened.
When the purchase is owned, the advertising service is not initialised at all.
The purchase is linked to the Google account that made it, and can be restored on any device using the Restore purchases option inside the application.
Third-Party Services
Fastest Finger uses the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements
- Google Play Billing — for processing the optional in-app purchase
- Google User Messaging Platform — for collecting advertising consent where it is required
The application does not use online user accounts, cloud storage, HassApps backend servers, online databases, or analytics services.
If additional third-party services are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate.
Data Sharing
HassApps does not sell, rent, or share personal information collected through Fastest Finger, because HassApps does not collect personal information on its servers.
Device information used for advertising is collected directly by Google as the advertising service provider, as described in the Advertising section.
Records and preferences are not shared with the advertising service and remain locally on the user's device.
Data Security
Because Fastest Finger does not transmit personal information to HassApps servers, HassApps does not maintain an online database containing personal information collected from users of the application.
Network communication carried out by the advertising and billing services uses encrypted connections provided by those services.
Information stored locally by the application is subject to the security and protection mechanisms of the user's Android device.
Users are encouraged to maintain appropriate security for their devices.
Children's Privacy
Fastest Finger is not specifically directed toward children and does not intentionally request personal information from children.
The application does not require users to create an account or provide personal information in order to play.
The application should be used in accordance with the age rating and availability information shown on Google Play.
User Choices and Control
Users remain in control of the information stored by the application and may at any time:
- Clear the records of all challenges from within the application, under Settings and then Reset results
- Reset the advertising identifier or opt out of personalised advertising from the device settings
- Change the advertising consent choice, where this requirement applies, from within the application, under Settings and then Privacy choices
- Remove advertising permanently through the optional in-app purchase, and restore it on another device
- Turn sound and vibration on or off, and change the interface language and appearance
- Clear the application data or uninstall the application to remove all locally stored information
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the application, its functionality, data practices, advertising, third-party services, or applicable legal requirements change.
The latest version of this Privacy Policy will be published on this page, together with the date of the most recent update.
